Carmichael UK are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Gloucestershire.
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support delivery across key earthworks, drainage and landscaping packages on a high-profile scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Setting out and surveying across earthworks, drainage and landscaping works
- Supporting delivery of bulk earthworks (cut & fill, embankments, formation)
- Assisting with drainage installations including culverts and attenuation systems
- Supporting landscaping and environmental works packages
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with designs, specifications and programme
- Managing QA documentation, ITPs and as-built records
- Liaising with subcontractors and site teams to support smooth delivery
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in earthworks, drainage and/or landscaping packages
- Competent in setting out using Total Station / GPS (Trimble or Leica)
- Knowledge of QA processes, site documentation and engineering standards
- Experience working within Tier 1 contractor environments preferred
- CSCS card and relevant qualifications
- Right to work in the UK
